Navigating ShadowMap

ShadowMap uses a left sidebar for primary navigation, organized by security domain.

The left sidebar is divided into these main sections:

Dark WebData breaches, stealer logs, compromised users/computers, telegram conversations

Threat FeedsCurated threat feeds, cyber news, media monitoring, regulatory intelligence

At the bottom of the sidebar you will find:

Common Interface Patterns

Tables and Lists

Most modules display findings in a table view with:

  • Column sorting — Click column headers to sort
  • Filters — Use the filter bar above the table to narrow results by status, severity, date, tags, etc.
  • Search — Full-text search within the current view
  • Pagination — Navigate through large result sets at the bottom of the table
  • Export — Download findings as CSV or PDF

Detail Views

Click any row in a table to open its detail view, which typically includes:

  • Full details about the finding
  • Activity timeline and history
  • Comments and notes
  • Tags and status management
  • Related findings and cross-references

Tags and Comments

Across all modules, you can:

  • Tag findings with custom labels for organization and filtering
  • Add comments to track investigation notes and decisions
  • Change status to track remediation progress
